Friends and family recommend us

I was seen on Friday evening and again on Sunday. The care and kindness from the entire team exceeded expectations. As a mother of a two-month-old baby with a fracture and ligament damage, I received exceptional care. The clinic has modern technology and excellent facilities, particularly the MRI machine. I look forward to continuing my treatment here.

I visited a private clinic suffering from severe pain and nausea. Despite being a walk-in patient with no appointment, I was taken in and received exceptional care. The medical staff were incredibly knowledgeable and caring. There was no waiting time, and they ensured my well-being before I left. Their compassion and professionalism assured me that I was in good hands.

I did not want to spend another 11 hours in Charing Cross A&E as I did last year. My wife booked me in with VisitHealth, and within five hours, I was seen, diagnosed, X-rayed, MRI scanned, and treated with anticoagulants, anti-gastrics, and a plaster cast.

I went in on a Sunday morning and was seen immediately, even having X-rays taken. With the doctor consultation, prescriptions, and X-rays, I was in and out in an hour. Everyone in the office was so kind and warm. It was such a pleasant experience, and I can't say enough good things. I will absolutely return if I need urgent care again. In the desert of horrid urgent care options in London, finally, an oasis.

While on vacation from the U.S., I needed urgent medical care and was fortunate to find a clinic in London. The doctor and staff were amazing! The doctor followed up via phone several times to check on my recovery. I can’t say enough good things about this modern, all-inclusive facility. FANTASTIC!

Walk-in urgent care

You get access to doctors from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., every day.
non-life-threatening conditions, mild illness, mild injuries, and infections
In cases where hospitalisation is required, VisitHealth helps coordinate your transfer to private or NHS hospitals.

Triage and referrals

The right care for your condition is ensured, whether it’s a clinic appointment, or a transfer to the hospital.
When you’re unsure of the severity of your symptoms, the triage system determines the best course of action.
If your condition requires more urgent or specialised care, the triage team will advise on the next steps, including hospital transfers.

On-the-spot fast and convenient access to treatments and prescriptions.

These are cases where immediate treatment is needed but hospitalisation isn’t required, such as infections that need antibiotics or pain management
Medication can be delivered to your home if you’re unable to collect it yourself.

Private urgent care center

Be seen within minutes, not hours

Skip long waits—get prompt, personalised care with fast access to diagnostics at VisitHealth.

Unlike busy emergency departments where you might wait a long time, at VisitHealth, we do our best to see you within minutes. We’re private, which means there’s a fee—but in return, you’ll receive prompt, personalized attention and access to a wider range of diagnostic tests than you typically would in a standard GP surgery.

Specialist consultations and diagnostic tests on-site

From X-rays to specialist appointments, all your urgent care and diagnostic needs are handled in one place.

With everything in one place, you won’t be sent all over town for tests or follow-up:

  • GPs and Urgent Care Doctors with A&E backgrounds
  • Radiology on-site including X-rays, MRI, and ultrasound
  • Specialist referrals and on-site appointments (orthopedics, cardiology, and more)
  • In-house nursing team to assist with wound care, suturing, and dressings

Highly skilled A&E-trained team

Our doctors and nurses have A&E experience, ensuring expert care and quick recognition of critical issues.

When we say our urgent care doctors and nurses come from an A&E (Accident & Emergency) background, it means they’re used to fast-paced, high-level emergencies. They know how to spot critical issues, stabilize patients, and decide if a person needs hospital-level care. Even though we’re not an emergency department, having that level of expertise on-site ensures that if your situation requires a referral or transfer, we’ll recognize that quickly and help you get exactly where you need to be.

All the care you need in one visit

How we speed things up

Initial contact

Whether you call us or book online, you’ll give us a bit of information about your symptoms and concerns.

Talk to a nurse about your condition during triage

One of our nurses will ask you detailed questions. This step helps us decide how soon you need care—and if our clinic is the best place for you. If triage confirms we can help, we’ll book you for a same-day appointment.

On-site assessment

When you arrive, we’ll do a quick check of your vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, etc.) to get a full picture of your health.

Doctor consultation

You’ll meet with one of our doctors for a thorough examination. They might listen to your lungs, check a sore throat, assess a sprain, or do any other necessary physical checks.

Tests and results

If you need blood tests or a scan (X-ray, ultrasound, MRI), we can often handle it right away. Our on-site radiology department speeds up diagnosis immensely.

Treatment and follow-up

We’ll discuss the best treatment plan with you, whether it’s medication, a cast, some stitches, or even a referral to a specialist. If you need ongoing care, we’ll stay in touch and make sure you have all your results.

Insurance: we’ve got you covered

We partnered with Bupa, Vitality, WPA and Healix. We also work with other major international insurance companies.

FAQ

What we treat

  • Fractures and broken bones
  • Sprains and strains of the musculoskeletal system
  • Minor burns and wounds, animal bites and human bites
  • Chest infections and respiratory problems
  • Sore throats and tonsillitis
  • Flu, asthma, bronchitis
  • Ear, nose and throat issues, including ear infections and balance disorders
  • Some gynaecological conditions, women’s health
  • Anxiety and fatigue
  • Persistent headaches
  • Stomach aches and gastrointestinal issues
  • Urinary infections and bladder and kidney problems

What we don't treat

  • Life threatening illnesses and emergencies, including those to the head
  • Major trauma
  • Pregnancy related conditions
  • Overdoses or poisoning
  • Severe burns

If you think you are having any of these, we always advise calling 999 or visiting an NHS A&E department as quickly as possible.

When to choose urgent care vs. A&E?

  • Urgent Care at VisitHealth is perfect for injuries, minor fractures, fevers, vomiting, throat or ear infections, dehydration, and other non-life-threatening issues that still require immediate attention.
  • A&E (Accident & Emergency) is necessary if you experience severe chest pain, uncontrollable bleeding, trouble breathing, or any life-threatening event.

If you’re unsure, give us a call. We’ll do a quick triage to guide you to the safest option.

Same-day x-ray scans

X-ray (XR) is a widely used, non-invasive diagnostic tool, primarily for detecting issues such as bone fractures and lung infections. No special preparation is required for most X-ray exams, and the process is quick and efficient.

At VisitHealth, X-ray scans can be done both in the clinic or at home, and they’re available for people of all ages, from children to the elderly.

Same-day ultrasound appointments, results within 24 hours

Ultrasound is one of the safest and most straightforward methods of medical imaging. It uses sound waves that reflect differently depending on the density of the tissue, allowing us to examine soft tissues but not bones. Ultrasound is ideal for looking at the structure, density, and size of internal organs.

At VisitHealth, Ultrasounds can be done both in the clinic or at home, and they’re available for people of all ages, from children to the elderly.

If you have a pressing health concern and want to avoid NHS queues, VisitHealth’s specialists are available immediately to put your mind at rest or treat you to the highest clinical standard. If you need referring for more tests or specialities, our specialists are on standby on-site and on-call, seven days a week, with the very latest diagnostic technology and blood work for instant and rapid results, interpretation and clinical decision making.

At VisitHealth, we provide urgent care that you can access without an appointment from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. You can walk in with any health concern, except for life-threatening emergencies. If your condition requires immediate hospitalisation or intensive care, we will help organise your transfer to either a private hospital or an NHS facility, depending on your preferences and circumstances. We can even arrange private ambulance transport if necessary.
