Wound care and stitching

This is simple wound care, including cleaning, dressing, stitching, and the removal of stitches.
Enjoy quick and effective treatment for minor injuries, either at the clinic or in the comfort of your home.
cuts, abrasions, or post-surgery stitches
Some treatments, like stitching, must be done in sterile conditions at the clinic, but simpler care can be arranged to take place at your home.

Ulcers and burns

Simple burns and chronic ulcers, such as trophic ulcers, can be treated at VisitHealth.
Regular care and dressing changes help manage chronic conditions, while simple burn treatment prevents complications.
chronic ulcers, burns from hot liquids, mild chemical exposure
Severe burns may require a referral to a specialist centre, while simpler burns can be treated at the clinic.

Nail removal

We treat inflamed, painful ingrown nails, covering partial and full nail removal.
We offer quick relief from painful nail conditions, with proper aftercare to prevent infections.
ingrown nails causing pain or inflammation
Nail removal is often done as an outpatient procedure depending on the condition.

Abscesses, carbuncles and boils

VisitHealth drains and treats abscesses, boils, and carbuncles to prevent infection and promote healing.
Expect fast and effective treatment that relieves pain and speeds up your recovery.
painful, swollen lumps filled with pus
This procedure is done in the clinic, often without the need for an appointment.

Foreign body removal

This covers the extraction of foreign objects like glass, splinters, and small items stuck in the body, sometimes from the nose or foot.
Quick and safe removal of objects prevents further pain or infection.
objects lodged in the body, often involving children
X-rays can be used to locate the object, and complicated cases can be referred to a surgeon.

Ear wax removal

This sees earwax being removed using water irrigation or suction.
Discomfort is relieved and hearing diminished by blocked ears is restored.
blocked ears, hearing loss, discomfort caused by a build-up of wax
Suction is a more advanced technique that requires specialised equipment.

Casts

VisitHealth handles the application and removal of casts for minor fractures.
Casts stabilise healing, and convenient removal follows when the fracture has healed.
fractures requiring immobilisation, a cast around an area that has healed
Cast removal is done at our clinic, while the application of a cast may be offered depending on the situation.

At VisitHealth, we offer a range of minor procedures. Simple wound dressings, stitching up cuts, and the removal of stitches are all handled by our expert team. We also apply and remove casts and treat more complex cases like chronic ulcers (such as trophic ulcers) that require multiple visits for proper care.

We do full and partial nail removal for conditions like ingrown nails, which can become inflamed and painful, and we handle the draining and treatment of abscesses, carbuncles, and boils. These minor surgeries can be done quickly at the clinic, often without an appointment. We have a dedicated room for these procedures, so you can simply book a time or walk in if you need to.

We also offer foreign body removal, such as extracting glass from a foot or a small object lodged in the nose. This is a common issue, especially with children, and we use X-rays to locate the object if necessary. In more complicated cases, we can refer you to a surgeon or specialist.

We perform ear wax removal, either through water irrigation or suction, using special equipment. Ingrown toenails, which lead to inflammation, are also treated, along with the care and treatment of burns. For simple burns, such as those arising from boiling water, we can provide care, but more severe burns will require specialist treatment in a burns centre.

Friends and family recommend us

I was seen on Friday evening and again on Sunday. The care and kindness from the entire team exceeded expectations. As a mother of a two-month-old baby with a fracture and ligament damage, I received exceptional care. The clinic has modern technology and excellent facilities, particularly the MRI machine. I look forward to continuing my treatment here.

I visited a private clinic suffering from severe pain and nausea. Despite being a walk-in patient with no appointment, I was taken in and received exceptional care. The medical staff were incredibly knowledgeable and caring. There was no waiting time, and they ensured my well-being before I left. Their compassion and professionalism assured me that I was in good hands.

I did not want to spend another 11 hours in Charing Cross A&E as I did last year. My wife booked me in with VisitHealth, and within five hours, I was seen, diagnosed, X-rayed, MRI scanned, and treated with anticoagulants, anti-gastrics, and a plaster cast.

I went in on a Sunday morning and was seen immediately, even having X-rays taken. With the doctor consultation, prescriptions, and X-rays, I was in and out in an hour. Everyone in the office was so kind and warm. It was such a pleasant experience, and I can't say enough good things. I will absolutely return if I need urgent care again. In the desert of horrid urgent care options in London, finally, an oasis.
